Unfortunately, the weather can make things even more confusing if you’re starting a new training program. Don’t fret! I have you covered. Purchase Transitional Fitness Clothes

Purchase fitness clothes for a variety of temperatures. I highly recommend long tanks, as they are breathable, easy to layer and very stylish. Capri tights are always a go-to as they are perfect for any season and workout.

Don’t Forget Sunscreen is Vital

You can get sunburn in any season so don’t forget to apply sunscreen. According to the Skin Cancer Foundation, sunscreen is one of the most vital items used in helping to reduce skin cancer and other skin diseases.

Switch Out Shoes

Since your feet are slightly bigger in the summer and smaller in the winter, now is the perfect time to have a foot analyst and purchase new running (or fitness) shoes. I recommend always having two sets of shoes as a runner so that you can rotate each week or as needed.

Replace or Purchase Workout Essentials

Now is the perfect time to replace any old electronics, hydration bottles, socks, towels and other fitness items you may use daily. With newer models releasing and tons of fall sales, stock-up and prepare for the upcoming training season.

Hydrate. Hydrate. Eat. Hydrate.

Don’t forget to hydrate and replenish the body with healthy seasonal foods after a workout to replenish your hair and body. My go-to post workout meal is a hearty salad and coconut water.

Prep for On the Go

Now that fall is around the corner, I am extremely busy with events, trips and meetings. I always keep a protein bar and fruit in my bag to ensures, I won’t reach for the tempting M&Ms while out. Quest, Lara, and Kind Bars are some of the most popular ones.

I LOVE this post! I never even considered the running shoe tip and I know my shoe size has done all kind of shifting since having my youngest earlier in the year. Unfortunately I learned the sunscreen tip the hard way, I got a little burn this time last year! Def won’t be making that mistake again lol

My name is Jackie, and I’ve been following you for over a year now. Not only are you beautiful on the outside, but inside as well. You are truly an inspiration and motivation to me. Your words of wisdom for healthy eating and living, as well as natural hair, and the styles to wear to work out in , have been a great advantage to me. I want you to know that because of your beautiful spirit and love of helping others, I’ve came out of a depression of feeling sorry for myself, and have been on a healthy journey of eating better, working out. I even went natural. I also lost 30lbs. You made me realize life is short, and you need to be the best you. Thank you Alex. Please continue to uplift and expire folks, because you truly have an impact on me. Not to be corny or cliche, but you changed my life. If you want to check me out on Instagram, my name is Jackie72084. GOD BLESS YOU
