Alexandria Williams is a Fithair Expert, best-selling author, Director of Communications, and Health & Run Influencer. She is a regular guest expert on Women’s Health Magazine and recently featured on ESPN Run documentary. She is the media-go-to resources for connecting the dots between hair, health and fitness as she often can be on national media outlets such as JET, Essence, Good Morning Texas, Fox Sports News, the Dallas Morning News, and SHAPE and the first 4x Women Action Hero of the Year by the magazine – Women’s Health.
With a passion for Marketing and Marathon, Alex has been involved in both the Communications and Fitness industry for almost two decades and has no plans on slowing down. Currently, she is the Communications Director for a nonprofit, which offers counseling and mental health services for children and families in the Dallas-Ft.Worth area. This communications pro is adept in thrusting businesses into the media spotlight through utilizing social and digital media channels.
As the newly appointed, Route 66 Ambassador Director, she connects her experience as an influencer and digital professional seemly for the famous rockin Marathon. Alex was the youngest Director on the board of the National Black Marathoners Association and holds national ambassadorships with Brooks Running and Balega International and previously with the Route 66 Marathon, Cowtown Marathon, Genuine Health and C20 Coconut Water. In 2018, Alex was selected as a DFW Millenniums to Watch honoree. She is also a co-author of a best selling book, Beginner’s Guide to Triathlons and self-published author of her first book, “FitHair Foundations.”
